PREFACE
It is the first occasion when a Unified Schedule
of Rates for construction of tube wells is coming
into force from 17th May, 2002 in Public Health
Engineering Department for the entire State of Madhya
Pradesh. This will not only help in preparation
of realistic estimates of tube well work but will
also be helpful in making the comparative study
of cost of works by knowing the trend of rates in
various zones which shall be useful in quick and
effective decision making.
The work of preparation of this unified schedule
of rates was a tedious job. The undersigned gratefully
acknowledge the initiative inspiration and counsel
given by Shri Satyananda Mishra, Principal Secretary
from time to time without which it could not have
been possible to bring this unified schedule of
rates.
I extend my thanks to Shri Arun Dwivedi, Chief Engineer,
Shri Sudhir Saxena, Chief Engineer, Shri J.S. Bansal,
Chief Engineer (E&M), Shri A.P. Chaurasia, Superintending
Engineer and Shri H.P. Khare, Executive Engineer
who made the sincere efforts to prepare this schedule
of rates. The work done by Shri Sudhir Kalra and
Shri Shrinivas Prasad Assistant Engineers in connection
with the preparation of this schedule of rates is
also commended.
